Where it all started
Al and Donna Cleaver founded interior Images after returning to the Central Maryland area from the west in 1980. After relocating back to Maryland, Donna did an extensive search in the local area for the latest flooring and window treatments that she used to have access to in Northern California. However, the search proved to be unsuccessful, and the idea for Interior Images was born. Both Donna and Al saw a gap in the market and decided to open their own store in order to communicate directly with manufacturers of both floor and window treatments to bring the latest styles and designs to the local area of Central Maryland.
In 2018, we decided to reinvent Interior Images with a state of the art showroom featuring the latest flooring and window treatments trends. Al Cleaver and Denise Winer, our showroom manager and Senior design consultant, spent endless hours seeking the most innovative products that feature waterproof hardwood, scratch-resistant finishes, rich fade-resistant colors, and stain-proof carpeting. Tile has evolved into bigger and bigger footprints creating visuals unlike anything seen before with highly detailed patterns duplicating marble, granite, stone, and hardwood.
Window treatments are now integrated with smart home automation systems. This set-up will dramatically transform rooms, creating an ambiance and comfort level never before possible with remote-controlled motorized blinds, shades, and shutters in the latest designs and colors.
